In the afternoon enjoy some free time to visit the V&A Waterfront, a hot spot for foreigners and locals alike. Still a working harbor, the Waterfront is an example of creative architecture and restoration and has become South Africa's most visited tourist attraction. The Waterfront offers a large variety of shops and is the home of the two oceans aquarium. Overnight: Cape Town (B,L) |
Day 5 - Cape Town to Graskop
This morning transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your early flight to Johannesburg. The entire town of Pilgrim's Rest was declared a National Monument in 1986 as a living memory of the early gold rush days in South Africa during the late 1800s / early 1900s. Overnight: Graskop (B) |
Day 6 - Graskop to Kruger National Park
Drive to Kruger National Park and embark on an afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of South Africa. This national park of nearly 2 million hectares is unrivaled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies. After the game drive, continue to Camp Nkambeni, where we will enjoy an African-style dinner, under the stars and spend the night in a lodge. Overnight: Camp Nkambeni (B,D) |

Day 8 - Open Vehicle Game Drives
Today, enjoy both morning and evening game drives, searching for Africa's Big 5 (elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and water buffalo). Day 10 - Johannesburg - Livingstone, Zambia
Fly to Livingston, Zambia and enjoy a guided tour of world renown Victoria Falls. The Sotho-speaking Kololo people of the upper reaches of the river gave it the well-known name of Mosi o a Thunya (smoke that rises). The Lozi people call it by the same name but translated it into smoke that sounds. The Ndebele call it aManza Thunqayo (the water that rises like smoke). The Namibian people call it Chinotimba (a noise-making place like the distant sound of digging). Overnight: Livingstone (B) |
